At XTS we are redefining how learning content is created and delivered. We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst who can independently own end-to-end analytical projects. This is a hands-on role where you will work across teams, dive into large datasets, and deliver clear, actionable insights that directly influence business and product decisions. You’ll be expected to not only uncover trends and opportunities but also present polished outcomes backed by strong documentation.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on autonomy, takes initiative, and has the ability to collaborate across departments while driving projects to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data analysis projects, from scoping requirements through delivering final insights and documentation.

• Extract, process, and analyze fitness and wearable time-series data, identifying patterns that drive product improvements, engagement, retention, and reduced churn.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across product, marketing, and operations to identify data needs and translate them into clear, actionable recommendations.

• Manage and optimize Snowflake data warehouse tools to ensure efficient, scalable, and reliable data workflows.

• Build and optimize SQL queries and leverage Snowflake for large-scale data extraction and manipulation.

• Develop and maintain reliable data pipelines and workflows to ensure robust, repeatable analysis.

• Apply advanced statistical methods — including techniques tailored for time-series data — to deliver deeper, data-driven insights.

• Create clear, compelling data visualizations in Python (matplotlib, seaborn, plotly) and R (ggplot2, Shiny) to communicate insights effectively.

• Ensure insights are communicated effectively through clear presentations, dashboards, and documentation.

• Proactively identify opportunities to improve how Myzone leverages data to inform decisions.

 

Technical Skills & Expertise:

• 5+ years of professional experience as a data analyst or in a similar data-focused role.

• Strong expertise in SQL (advanced query writing and optimization).

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake — including management, optimization, and leveraging its full suite of tools.

• Proven experience working with data pipelines and processing large datasets.

• Strong grounding in statistical methods, including advanced time-series analysis.

• Experience working with wearable data, IoT data, or other time-series datasets.

• Advanced data visualization skills in Python (matplotlib, seaborn, plotly) and R (ggplot2, Shiny).

• Demonstrated ability to derive insights into user churn, retention, and engagement.

• Track record of working independently, taking ownership of initiatives, and driving them through to completion.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex analyses into clear, actionable insights.

• Strong collaboration skills and ability to partner across departments.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).

• Experience with data engineering, including ETL/ELT development and workflow orchestration.

• Familiarity with cloud data architecture.

• Background in consumer tech, health tech, or fitness industries.
