We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager / Business Analyst to lead client engagements and ensure delivery of high-quality software solutions. This hybrid role requires a professional who can own business requirements and analysis while also managing overall project execution.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Business Analysis (requirements gathering, documentation, UAT, stakeholder engagement) along with proven experience in project management and delivery oversight.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis (Core Responsibility)
- Engage with clients and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Create and maintain requirement traceability matrices throughout the lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to ensure requirements are implemented accurately.
- Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing, ensuring solutions meet business expectations.
- Support pre-sales activities, including contributing to RFP responses, proposals, and client presentations.
- Document workflows, business rules, and processes, ensuring clarity and alignment.
Project Management (Supporting Responsibility)
- Define project scope, objectives, and delivery plans aligned with client and business goals.
- Develop and manage project schedules, resources, risks, and dependencies.
- Implement Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban) and ensure effective sprint planning and tracking.
- Monitor project progress, report status to stakeholders, and ensure timely escalations.
- Drive governance, change management, and ensure project delivery within agreed scope, time, and budget.
- Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and ownership
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or Business Management.
- 7-8 years of experience in Business Analysis and Project Management, with stronger emphasis on BA responsibilities.
- Proven expertise in gathering, documenting, and managing business requirements for software development projects.
- Hands-on experience in functional testing, UAT coordination, and requirements validation.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Trello for requirements and project tracking.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Domain expertise in E-Commerce, Content Management, Media & Entertainment, or Enterprise Applications.
- Experience in product engineering or data-driven projects.
- Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CSM.
- Familiarity with BI/analytics, cloud environments, and DevOps practices.
- Experience with process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart)
Technical stack:Strong BA / DA background, UAT Cordination, good understanding of SDLC, trello / asna / jira, agile / waterfall, preferable PMP / CSM, Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines & cloud.
